ACCEPTING THESE TERMS

By accessing or using DEGRADED, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.

WHAT DEGRADED DOES

DEGRADED is a lightweight communication tool. It lets you publish one current status, an optional short note and an optional recovery estimate, then share an unlisted link with people you choose. A visitor can acknowledge the signal without starting a conversation.

DEGRADED is not therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, crisis monitoring or an emergency service. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.

UNLISTED LINKS AND EDIT KEYS

Your public status page is unlisted, but it is not password-protected or end-to-end encrypted. Anyone who has the link can view it and may forward it. Do not publish anything you would be harmed by others seeing.

Your edit key is stored in your browser. You are responsible for protecting that device and key. Clearing browser data, switching devices or losing the key may remove your ability to edit the page.

YOUR CONTENT

You keep ownership of the words you submit. You give DEGRADED a limited permission to host, process and display that content only as needed to operate the service.

Do not use DEGRADED to threaten, harass, impersonate, exploit, defraud or expose another person; publish illegal content; distribute malware or spam; probe the service for vulnerabilities; or interfere with other users or infrastructure.

FREE AND PAID ACCESS

The core status page is free. DEGRADED Pro is available through the Pricing page. The product name, included features, currency, billing period and public price are shown before purchase and match the information presented at Paddle Checkout.

Current paid pricing is $18 USD per year for DEGRADED Pro. It renews annually at $18 USD until cancelled. Taxes may apply and will be calculated at checkout. There is currently no free trial, introductory price or discount.

The price, billing period and included features are shown before purchase. Subscriptions continue for the stated billing period until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally leaves access active through the paid period.

PAYMENTS THROUGH PADDLE

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for paid orders and handles payment-related customer-service inquiries and returns.

Your purchase will also be subject to Paddle's checkout terms and privacy notices. Our Refund Policy explains the voluntary refund window and preserves any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES

We aim to keep DEGRADED available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may repair, change, limit or discontinue features when needed for security, reliability or product development. If a paid feature is materially discontinued, we will apply the Refund Policy and any rights required by law.

SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION

We may restrict or remove access when reasonably necessary to stop abuse, comply with law, protect people or infrastructure, or respond to a serious breach of these Terms. You may stop using DEGRADED at any time. Requests concerning removal of a status page can be sent to support@echoscarrie.com.

DISCLAIMER AND LIABILITY

DEGRADED is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the service, lost access to an edit key, or sharing an unlisted link.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

CHANGES, DISPUTES AND CONTACT

We may update these Terms as the product changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be presented through the site or another reasonable notice.

If a dispute arises, contact support@echoscarrie.com first so we can try to resolve it. These Terms do not take away any mandatory rights, venue or remedies available under the law that applies to you.
